The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 结尾有些匠气与不够自然，摄影和配乐都很好。即使是不了解的历史事件，里面对于童年的怀念，对于父母的依赖，以及祖父祖母的智慧慈爱与牺牲，是共通的。人生总要面对别离的。
饰演小男孩的裘德修与饰演父亲的杰米多南两个人的对手戏拍的异常感人，黑白影像反而显得更加隽永，非常讲究的美术和摄影，配乐也恰到好处。不抱任何期望，却发现更多的感动和惊喜。
英国的《八月》，喜欢里面的构图和摄影，配乐好听但太频繁，居然提名导演奖，令人费解。
全片黑白色调，致敬回忆。爸爸和妈妈很像Jude Law和Renée Zellweger
就那一小片街区景来回用，那黑白不就是掩盖布景的假么，最大的问题情感跳戏啊，是一会儿感受孩童的天真，一会儿又体会父母的无奈。
一部包装很漂亮的电影，何必刻意去展示动荡年代，感觉拍童年快乐看电影唱歌跳舞的部分自然的多。
实在是没有什么意思，希望不要再搞这种电影了。
当电影的画面从现代化的贝尔法斯特小城忽然转变为黑白色的街道景象时 ，我们就知道导演要给我们展示的是这座城市曾经发生过的历史，是他的童年记忆。

太装腔作势了。又是总往演员脸上怼着拍的大特写镜头——“催吐镜头”。垃圾导演浪费优质演员。
导演的童年回忆改编 60年代宗教信仰导致北爱尔兰内乱 有人留守 有人离开 走上不同的人生道路 有罗马的影子 也是黑白电影 剧情太平淡了 冲突也不够激烈 并没有觉得时代变化对小人物产生了影响 而且用小孩子的视角看上去 更显得没有事件感和年代感 总之 我不喜欢 看得昏昏欲睡
属于导演很私人的回忆 黑白的画面 小男孩穿梭在时而平静时而硝烟四起的街头巷尾 被时代推着走的孩子在意的仅仅是见不到心爱的女同学
有很多不足 但导演对于故乡、童年、亲情的回溯都那么纯真和美好，满满的爱。

并不喜欢。自传体这种体裁，是很容易陷入回忆之中自嗨的，但是对没有相似文化背景或是情感经历的观众来说却很难共情，虽然演员的细腻演绎，或是摄影的精细考究或许可以加分，但是缺乏了某种可以穿透形式和语境可以直达人心的东西的话（比如《罗马》在这一点上就做得非常优秀），那么无论对于主创，还是对于观众来说，这种表达方式就是非常私人的，能get到自然会感动，不能的话要打高分实在太违心。
