The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 能和物体谈话的创意没有撑住整部电影。整部电影节松散，不知所云...
5分。网飞真有钱，花了数千万美元买了这部电影。与其说是犯罪惊悚片，不如说是略带黑色幽默的喜剧片。笨贼进屋盗窃，遇到屋主返回，大家好说好商量，笨贼拿了五千美元已经走了，结果发现被摄像头拍了个正着，于是返回。屋主是知名富豪，狂妄且嚣张，他一次次挑战笨贼底线，甚至羞辱他。笨贼却老老实实等着现金的到来——屋主主动要求给贼五十万美金。本来剧情发展到这虽然搞笑，但也还算正常，可是电影最后屋主老婆突然暴走，杀了笨贼不说，顺手杀了自己老公。动机铺垫严重不足，所以看得我莫名其妙。中断节奏缓慢看得有些无聊。
幻想确实是一种很浪漫的能力，和静物对话真的是挺令人向往的，但是并不妨碍这是一部失败的喜剧，从头到尾看下来没几个好笑的地方……
