The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 以为是一部蹭热点的烂片，看了才发现应该算赘婿的外传。
虽然服化道一般，剧情也一般，但是丝毫不影响这是一部好笑的国产片！吉吉国王这条线拍的还挺有意思的！作为一部衍生电影，结尾也为第二季埋下了伏笔！没想到中国影视化作品也可以有系列这个概念了！

幽默也有，只是看过赘婿再看这个，新意少了很多。当然，下饭剧还是很好，甚至想看番外，大马猴和小汤圆能演40集也可以看得下去。
