The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这么好的华语电影，却无法在最大华语人口集中地上映。
从《末路狂花》到《最后的决斗》，30年来Ridley Scott镜头下带给女性的理解和尊重无可比拟。这部电影票房惨败，是这个时代的耻辱。
在Laemmle看的 川剧魔幻版霸王别姬...
虽然和《英雄》一模一样的三段结构（更早是《罗生门》）但细节填充得很漂亮，果然问题不在于重复，而在于怎样完善细节。
第二季
这种多重视点的片子，总是会有些奇怪的笑点，还挺好玩的。另外本片在制作上还是很强的，很有实感

为啥这种故弄玄虚的电影会被刷那么高的分呢？电影不是要娱乐大众的吗
绝对五星，名副其实的华语年度最佳！荒诞的艺术，光怪陆离的社会变迁，《霸王别姬》的隔空对唱，模糊舞台和荧幕的扑面而来的丁达尔效应，极具个人色彩和地方特色的空灵的戏梦版的表达
比起戳破强奸犯的谎言，这个片子更精彩的部分是戳破丈夫的谎言。嘲讽拉满，特别悲凉的地方又特别好笑。女主演得太好了！
匠气很重 逃不出史诗叙述的企图心 相当另类 十分有趣 但还是有点被审美绊倒的奇观电影
片子非常不错，不知道票房为什么那么差，也不知道颁奖季能否有点收获。雷导的电影不管好坏，我都是要看的，毕竟他也拍不了几年了。
我很喜欢！导演的影像世界特别完整，其风格也是贯彻始终的。影片的气息和节奏都很流畅，三小时不觉闷不嫌长。这种主题和内容确实适合用荒诞闹剧的形式来展现，但要做到有趣味（不是低级的插科打诨，而是根植于视听的趣味）其实很难，《椒麻堂会》做到了。

#SGIFF#风格绮丽，几组长镜头和诗歌的运用恰到好处，☯︎交替的转换也颇有创意，阴间也和阳间一样。时代浮沉下小人物的命运能被拍得如此魔幻现实，真的很难得。 如果说缺点的话，就是时长太久了，叙事的话用诗歌作为间隔也显得取巧了。
