The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 来看看，正能量的作品不是非要大家牵着手大喊口号的。
我太佩服这部音乐剧的编排了，明明每个演员都在一人分饰多角，但全靠编排调度，让观众丝毫不会迷惑。最喜欢女机长的自白，人生可不就是一个接着一个的suddenly吗？
题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般

足够美式的审美和价值观，不足之处是有些地方实在煽情过度，但不得不承认起码在当下我很喜欢——今日朝鲜新增1.8万发热病例，特此标记——因为无数次深入绝境，才积蓄了更多的爱意和希望

有时候也需要一些温暖的鸡汤，真情动人。对灾难的讲述切入点很特别，技术上很强（卡司也太累了吧）
最感动的几个moment和唱段。他们铺起毯子开始祷告的一段。👮飞行员的唱段，Me and the Sky - Suddenly there's nothing in between me and the sky. ✈️ 返程飞机上的唱段，Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, you've found your heart and left a part of you behind. 💦 分别的唱段，Something’s missing. 👨🌾 岛民最后的唱段，Tonight we honor what was lost, but we also commemorate what we found.
