The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看的时候觉得这个片儿和《第一归正会》有点像，原来一个导演。
让我想到了福柯的训诫与惩罚，但文艺性不如拉斯冯提尔
优点和缺点都很明显的一部片子：从视听上讲，艺术程度不低，冷峻和疏离感塑造得很好；从剧情上讲，剧本实在不敢恭维，节奏也很拖沓。不过，奥斯卡在这部片子里也太辣了点，一头灰发冷着脸大吼着把男二推在床上那段我整个人都精神了。

数字拍摄技术的上世纪八九十年代城市中的“被背叛型角色”，故事是一场享乐与赎罪数字舞台比拼，并最后罪孽战胜了享乐。感觉也不算是反类型电影，虽然有几段处理的很反类型，但也不算。
导演功力不够 把主题拍得小而浅 但是镜头处理得很好 所以不至于给一颗星（只要忍住前一半的无聊还是能坚持看完的

太难看了…配乐一响起来就困到不行…

偶尔的镜头非常漂亮，长时间的情节让我无法看进去。如同第一归正会大家都说好我却完全感受不到。
预想中精彩的赌局基本上没有的 只有梦呓一般的鱼眼ptsd噩梦重现 节奏太慢了节奏感也太差了 每个人物的出场又都莫名其妙没有连惯感 看得一直走神 浪费了奥斯卡的好演技
另一种《出租车司机》，老派故事套上了新的外壳。本人对赌博这种手段，算是救赎？完全无感……
