The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实还蛮有趣的，有些情节不能自洽，也没关系，对于儿童向的故事要求不要太高

近几年里的日影里将"悲剧中没有对错"解释得非常清楚的片子 除了节奏有点问题虚实线稍微有些乱以至于观感上不是那么容易看下去以外 没有什么大纰漏

个人觉得2021年最佳影片之一。很喜欢导演的剧情设置，超市关门，拒绝大婶的爱，最后的画…。比《驾驶我的车》更有张力和说服力
