The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 几段蒙太奇实在是赞，福斯特进营房那段演技，绝望无助痛苦隐忍，扑面压过来；我们根本不用怀疑纳粹的反人类，战争的凶残，因为这些烙印对经历的人，是带一生的；最后弦松了…丹尼德威托是个惊喜，好久不见，神采依旧
4岁和7岁的小朋友看得很开心，怪兽摔跤的时候有点吓人。

怪兽的特点不够明显，同类型的公牛历险记比这强多了

中规中矩，情节太单一了
通篇故事线模糊，甚至一半的时候依旧让人摸不着头脑，铺垫了这么慢长，女主最后再次出现反而多余了，男主在现实中被过往记忆折磨灵魂这点儿表现的还不够。既然先交代了女主被掳进集中营，那还不如一开始就利用好集中营的戏份，从男女两条线着手，把一切颠沛流离都是作为铺垫，最后在现实里重逢岂不是更好。冗长的一部电影，有点儿白瞎了小本本的瘦身。
