剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     从发现是讲911的故事开始就一直流泪，编排得太好了，性别、宗教、种族、人性方面都有涉及但一点都不觉得拥挤，人物特点很鲜明所以角色切换和转场都很自然，立意也很好，既缅怀失去也致敬收获。好喜欢音乐剧群像！

    这才是纪念 911 的最好选材方式，受灾的是平民，也讲平民叙事。世界以痛吻我，我却报之以歌。哪里有黑暗哪里就有光明，哪里有悲伤哪里就有快乐。受限于戏剧的形式很多地方还是要做过多解释，稍显拖沓，改编成电影一定会更好的。

    一个狭小的场地进行广大空间的叙事，人多而不杂乱，事多而有序井然，第一次看到这样的舞台剧，没有繁杂的舞美，没有奢华的舞台，而演出了精彩的故事，大开眼界，大吃一惊！佩服佩服！

    作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。

    在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
