The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 对于涂鸦的深层意义缺少探讨，所以王国靠涂鸦支撑的设定就比较迷，而且团结众人也只能靠对小新的感谢来发声，并不是唤醒遗失的童趣之类。
近几年的蜡笔小新剧场版都是这样，说差吧，总有一些片段让人印象深刻，说好吧，比起早些年的还是有些差距，
永远不要停止想象、创新与输出，否则美好世界就会崩塌哦。别放弃，唱着歌跳着舞推动跑道画线机，奇迹就会从脚下诞生。

看过那么多蜡笔小新剧场版，唯一一部和“蜡笔”联系紧密（调侃一下）
其实生活很多的灵感源泉都是随手一画想出来的，蜡笔小新的布里夫、肥嘟嘟左卫门，甚至是娜娜子姐姐，都是他随手创造出来的，但是却有血有肉，有着真情实感。
