编剧导演是张伯伦的粉丝可以确定；不过是不是如片尾所宣称的战争的一年延迟确保了最终的胜利，则大有疑问。客观的看，张伯伦的绥靖也有他的道理，方今欧美不也绥靖着呢吗？绥靖在将来也不会绝迹。人性如是、制度如是。
除了杰瑞米艾恩斯的表演外，这部电影可以说毫无是处

通过两个小人物的角度展现慕尼黑协议签订前后英德双方的立场态度，可以作为一定的历史背景补充，有一定的剧作张力，但是不太满意最后电影对张伯伦谋略的反转刻画，就算不太了解历史的我都会觉得突兀和前后矛盾，就会对主创是否能正视历史产生疑问。
很难不说是张伯伦洗白篇，一些情节着实有点匪夷所思，比如在德国酒吧坐纳粹军官旁边用德语大声密谋推翻希特勒😥好在德国帅哥不错子😌 3.5🌟
6.5 A故事以虚写实 给一个剖面看到战争爆发前各方的状态 强调小人物对于历史虽然微乎其微但日拱一卒的推动 希特勒初次登场的那场戏特别好 缺点是强行类型元素 让人出戏地强作惊悚悬疑 又为了突出主角之间的冲突把谍战戏搞的非常儿戏 而且导演对自己的表达太不自信了 生怕观众看不懂恨不得把自己的中心思想让张伯伦给念出来 话虽如此但还是好过乔乔兔之类的几百条街吧
