After a holiday visit with his parents, Mikey is headed to the airport to return to his wife and newborn baby. Except he doesn’t board the plane. Instead he returns to his parents’ loft in lower Manhattan, back to his childhood room that has since been converted to storage. Unsure of his own motivations, he makes up excuses about why he’s staying – his flight is delayed, his flight is cancelled. A day passes, and then another, and he calls home and work to say he can’t return just yet – his parents are getting old, his parents are ill, time is too short. His doting mother is more than happy to enable his procrastination, while his artist father is suspicious. From afar, his confused wife grows increasingly unsettled. Meanwhile Mikey moves back into his room, digging out notebooks and mementos, calling on old friends. 中规中矩没有什么大破脑洞的地方，最好看的是最后两个镜头，最后的配乐也很美，其他收获是知道了芬兰语听起来什么样子，有这样可怕的妈还必须要从她那里获得认同感真的很可怜
这个妈妈太可怕了，各个方面，最后是鸠占鹊巢了么，戛然而止了。
说教味太浓，不够自然，自由成长还是跳脱不了时代局限
a twisted family但很喜欢结局，妈妈的小女孩变成不会累的孩子，真的是东亚family issues照进欧洲。女孩和鸟的bonding moment看出到了年初羊惧的影子，鸟越发变成人形，女孩的家庭压抑情绪到达顶点。
小清新畫風裏的惡心恐怖對比强烈，很有心理壓力。
建议以后改编成电影的话，可以让情节更丰富成熟一点，更成人向
和男友一起在家看的，男友说一点都不恐怖，但完全不知道电影在讲什么，很难看。我觉得还行啦，就是个寓言故事吧，可以有很多种解读思路。可以理解成恶魔是如何诞生的，强势逼人的母亲，漠不关心置之事外的父亲，性本善的女孩，经历了善恶相争的阶段后，最后一点善被母亲杀死，纯粹的恶诞生了。
最近很出圈的一部芬兰body horror，北欧中产家庭的mother issue，结尾很猛。

黑暗怪异的现代童话。就像，杜鹃鸟会把蛋下在其他鸟的鸟巢中，孵化出的后代将杀死并替代原生的雏鸟。
剧情确实有很多很现实的金句，
“成绩好就是好孩子”
长期吸收女儿负面情绪的蛋，而女儿「本体」则是吸收强势母亲移情一种载体。
我不对劲，看完这部电影又开始想看人外的本子
