剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。

    层次非常丰富的百老汇舞台剧，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。（观影时间：2021年10月6日；自评：8.3；推荐指数：★★★★★）
