电影本身两星都够呛，但是还能看到老东木，就不敢再做奢求。
牛仔大爷太老了，他刚一出场我都不相信自己的眼睛，全片充满了烈士暮年的感觉，也象征着牛仔精神的没落。
从没见过这样慈祥的东木。墨西哥小镇让我想起了西部执法者里的乌托邦庄园。
在电影院和零星的几位比男主角小二十多岁的大爷们一起看的这部电影，翻了翻评论，大多是负面的…我特别担心老爷爷爬土坡突然摔了，九十多岁了何苦为难自己，这到底是艺术追求，还是ego强大，我更愿意相信前者…即便有种爱尔兰人里大爷们拍的力不从心的似曾相识，我依然觉得给差评的人们如果自己90岁的年纪依然愿意工作才配给这部片子差评
去墨西哥时汽车与奔马并行的镜头掌控、配乐及片尾曲的选择，足见功力。

这部有失水准了，有些失望，不过毕竟老爷子也九十多了，还能演骑马戏也是够拼了。

东木老爷子还真是不闲着，拍完骡子又搞这么一出没什么剧情的片子，一老一小一鸡走一路，还找了个墨西哥娘们在无名小镇安了家
东木大爷年过九十依然奋战电影一线，令人钦佩，还希望看到老爷子贡献佳作。
看睡着了。伊斯特伍德 自导自演，公路片，70年代从墨西哥到得州，一个老头带着一个问题少年。故事核一看就很传统，虽然伊斯特伍德西部片狂野的画风不变，但这种故事有点温情，又是可以放任何背景下。在天苍苍，野茫茫的西部，这些温情反倒不搭，沧桑感和人物关系建立互相拉扯，结果都没做到极致。心疼老爷子，老爷子演的真好，但故事核选错了。
