The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 典型的美国篮球运动电影, 非常励志非常热血. Bo的经历不知道是不是球员的真实经历,似乎除了男主以外，别人的level都是匹配真实的。不知道Antman是不是真的这么喜欢垃圾话。 也算是给观众另一个视角去体验一份接触不到的工作之NBA球探。

3.5，剧本超预期，在此之前很难对Netflix自家出品的体育电影抱有什么期望。虽然在受制于NBA超长宣传片和传统美式励志体育片的命题作文模式下，情节设定都偏保守、套路，但好在情感真挚，人生无论如何也会投进一次。亚当·桑德勒的内敛表演在银幕上很罕见，锋芒毕露，而中国最应该看这部电影的人，大概是身居要职的姚老板吧。
