The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 4.5。当女主穿红衣服在舞池中央释放压抑的情绪，同过往她的人生一样，少有的绽放，更多的是压抑。洋娃娃是母性的一种寄托，夺走它的人寄托于过往的情感；被夺去洋娃娃的母亲寄托于能赎罪并获得轻松。
Trailer非常的deceitful,以至于当我发现这其实是关于the lost doll（like..literally!)的故事时还有点难以置信。除了Olivia Colman出神入化的演技以及Dickon Hinchliffe完美契合的score外，我却只能说Maggie Gyllenhaal作为auteur or storyteller都是刚刚及格的水平 ---我实在想不出一个比来自academia的中产白女haunted by the dark past regarding motherhood还contrived的设定了，特别是还选择这样一个故事作为directing debut，实在令人汗颜。故作高深的dialogue和editing背后，是人物的单薄和动机的缺失，令人无语。
看的憋屈但女性情绪现实，要不在生娃之前多看看这种电影有没有被唤醒的内心，年轻时造什么孽到点了都会还什么债，要么别生更自私点想清楚了年轻男女们，准备一辈子还不完的人情债……
全程充斥着一种压抑的、怪异的、离奇的氛围，时不时加入点轻松的音乐缓解，却不觉得无聊枯燥，反而能跟着主人公变换情绪，继而理解她。今年奥斯卡提名作品看到目前为止感觉最好的一部。

片中对于男权的展现在于，尽管Leda选择背叛的初衷是为了自己的学术事业，但最终把她的东西发扬光大的却是一个男人。于是乎她为了自己的事业成为了一种依附，也因而背弃了家庭与道德，更甚者这与她所追求的"自由"也背道而驰。
这个插叙剪辑和人物刻画的还是挺奇怪的，不是说什么不行，但是既然决定了生育就好好养，既然决定了抛弃就不要又回来愧疚。但表演还是很好的
典型的奈飞，只有一半时间用来说事儿，另一半用来解释“呐～你看～我这么讲故事其实很合理～”——但观众们都知道，在没有橘子的情况下剥橘子难度要比直接拿个橘子在那儿剥高多了～
安娜卡列尼娜和廊桥遗梦哪种选择也满足不了觉醒的当代女性了，得来回来去折腾两遍然后再condescending地教育别人才算满足，啥都占全了，简直是蛋疼。
沉重……但是拍的真好！想擁抱裏面每一個女人~~~
其实都只能证明导演既没能力打造出一个完满的人物，也根本就不相信他们写出的人物。
普通人男主来客串，有意思。/ 半个小时过去了，我看着nina面部特写，好生眼熟。原来是她。
女性的导演的作品，我总是难以扑捉其中那些情绪，让我特别遗憾

婚前看婚姻故事，孕前看暗处的女儿。每日一思what does marriage bring to women。很可能会是我本年度最爱的电影。
第3490-可能是近期看过感触最深的一个片子。女人在怀孕生产育儿方面感受到的一切，让女性本就纤细敏感的心理，承受着男人这辈子无法感同身受的压力，严重的情况需要一辈子去消化和解。
