The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 和去年波兰那部《冠军》比较类似，同样是用类型片的方式去展现集中营残酷记忆，更主流的演员选择和更充裕的制作成本保证了可看性的提高。
全片的唯一亮点可能就是怪兽的建模和流畅的格斗。剧情本身相当经不起推敲，适合单纯看个爽，爽过就可以忘，励志？整部电影更像是血脉的觉醒，没有天赋？看台下纹身完后洗纹身。

立意不错，只要是跟二战有关的题材我都喜欢，黑白镜头很有质感，男主那个脸充满了内疚、惭愧与隐忍。BTW，最后三拍子的片尾曲很是震撼人心，虽然只是钢琴与提琴的对话…
