The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 四星半，种族、女权、反战一锅端，很有奥斯卡相，如果不是结尾的“好莱坞式”结局，可以给五星。萨沙拜伦科恩不搞笑起来也挺有魅力的。

sorkin真的是讨厌留白，密密麻麻中的明明白白，刚看完fred hampton的另一部片子，今年academy award居然还内部联动起来
单从剪辑来看，确实比较乱，政见陈述的混乱及关键场景的暧昧处理，再加上一味的煽情式哗众，整体的导演水准是较低的，因为这不紧模糊了事件本身，还放大了的同情因素，整部影片从技术来说也只是一部不怎么样的美式主旋律。然而，从事件可以看到的是，在60年代的美国，这种政治审判也曾是一个半公开的迫害手段，司法机器也可以是象征性地运转，像演出一幕又臭又长的荒诞剧，但我不知道为何有人会拿这个和另一个国度相对比，无论结构、系统、媒体、态度、记录、影响、讨论等等完全是另一个时空，除了有同名的器官外实在找不出有何可比性，公平、公正等也是不同的概念，判断体系的落后与进步简直是开玩笑！又何来优越、羡慕、愤怒？只有一点，我们是不是从来没有错，如果没有，有没有承认的勇气？如果有，还有没有承认的勇气？
冲着六十年代，和艾伦·索金（《社交网络》《点球成金》《史蒂夫·乔布斯》的编剧）看的这部电影。还是他擅长的真实历史事件，讲述了1968年7名反战人士因未经批准举行抗议活动而被捕，随后接受政治审判的故事。“七君子审判”成为60年代民权运动的重要事件。
This is splendid cinematography. O how splendid! But somehow the story feels like self-entertainment to and only to an ironic level.
"The whole world is watching."剪辑和节奏太棒了，对揉杂私人恩怨体制的无情讽刺。特别是发现曾经的"队友"实际上是伪装的政府人员，在原告席位作证，讽刺说可能游行队伍的一万人都是便衣警察。
两个小时像是过分地拉长了中段，然后突然高潮。
总有一天我们也能拍出这样的电影。The whole world is watching.
艾伦索金的政治倾向真是个迷……而我已经对这种要做爱不要作战的口号式表面热血完全无感了。
最佳剧本、剪辑、男配这几个奖应该往死里拿吧
勇敢地挑戰公信部門的權威，他們不是一個人在作困獸猶鬥，不發聲不抗爭，這個世界決不會善意一點，今日之暴亂，明日之革命，道路太血腥/艱辛/反人性了。能把冗長的審判過程講述得絲絲入扣，導演功力值得敬佩。

够左，对立冲突制造到位，虽然结尾挺煽情，但看得荡气回肠，喜欢剪辑和节奏，何况还都是钟意的演员
铭记一句话，解释了美国官僚政府理应被民众认清的地位：
外国的月亮圆不圆也不好说，但是起码能把月亮给你看呀。
