剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     开篇几场戏并不好，没什么铺垫就直奔主题，其实也无需前景赘言，东木形象一出来大家就知道他是来解决问题的，这次故事里呈现的力不从心，处处妥协可能是东木到这个年纪自己的心态，好勇斗狠没有意义，寻得那一片温存才是归宿。很舒服，但很软的电影

    这一回，即使身为东木粉，我也打不出四星了。即使是曾经最拿手的西部片+公路片（一定程度上又复刻了[完美的世界]），伊斯特伍德也还是没拍好，或许终究是英雄迟暮吧。很明显可以看出老爷子做主演心有余而力不足了，驯马/骑马戏只能使用远景替身+本人上身近景的方式呈现，就连说台词和走路都让人捏着一把汗。尽管摄影与配乐尚算精致，但故事实在过于温吞——可能是因为真正强有力的敌手与冲突委实无法抵挡了。老牛仔一边说着服老与自嘲的台词“当你老去，你才意识到自己并没有任何答案”“I don't know how to cure 'old'.”，一边又仍旧试图强行续写英雄主义+白人直男中心主义幻想（陈旧俗套的美墨关系设定，墨西哥寡妇和“警长”完全是扁平纸片人），不仅了无新意而且违和感浓重。（6.5/10）

    没想到老爷子在耄耋之年拍了一部墨西哥家庭温情片，一如当年老西部片里退隐江湖的游侠悍匪一样，走完这辈子最后一次长途旅行，终于找到自己的归宿所在。简单的对白，轻微的冲突，都在刻意淡化矛盾；取而代之的是云淡风轻与波澜不惊。电影里的macho，银幕外永远的纯爷们。
