The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 讲述可以说改变现代音乐剧形式的天才剧作家乔纳森拉森的人物传记片，他却也没能逃脱早逝的命运。
错过，放弃，丢失，他像是Rent里所有角色的和，一无所获却也应有尽有。

歌舞片连里面的歌都不好听，那就没什么好说了，更何况还有股浓浓的脱节感。
You just wanna lay down and cry
不是一个完美的结尾却是一个好的结尾，梦想不会因为失败而停止。主题很喜欢，但是摄影拉跨音乐拉跨演员拉跨，跟«爱乐之城»比真的就太不精致了，加菲真不适合演这种片，他和高斯林的气质一个天上一个地下。
没有大战。但搞笑的桥段基本都集中在这一部。
加菲太棒了！Michael、Susan和Karessa的演员也好棒
