The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然有着一个沉重的时代背景，但片子显然融入了更多儿童视角的单纯美好。父亲母亲的形象选角俨然是偶像派的。黑白画面也是那么的细腻干净。
一座城市出一个导演讲一个故事，用彩色多好。北爱尔兰问题在兴趣点上，处在中间的人好难，不过只涉及表面。口音就是可爱。
就是一个van morrison的compilation。

开篇的长镜头和运镜真好看，黑白色调+摄影沟通+运镜，可以拿个最佳摄影奖了。剧本虽算一般，但导演实现得真好。可惜自己没一次看完，断断续续看的，让我的情绪无法有连贯感。值得二刷的电影。
全片黑白色调，致敬回忆。爸爸和妈妈很像Jude Law和Renée Zellweger
画面、运镜和配乐都很有特点，虽然是在讲略沉重的过去、但风格很现代，有种“时隔多年再忆起”的印象派感觉，影片故事就一般般，不过又是一位演员出身的导演，很厉害
属于那种没有多大野心，只是轻巧的讲述一场特定历史背景下的无奈离乡的小片。没有过度渲染悲伤和离别，欢乐生活还是占主调。片尾的音乐和歌声终于对了味儿，巴士离开街角后还是会让人陷入失落。

个人较为无感的状态之一源于我本就没有归属的漂泊，但严格来说剧情的设置也撑不起离开和留下这所有选择的症结，另外演技真的就一般，观看后的记忆点竟都是配角

爱尔兰的历史纠缠是影片的背景，爷爷奶奶是全片亮点，然而总体上觉得缺点真实感，仿佛看到了存在于记忆中的片段，与主角小孩越近越真切，远些的就有点虚了。
1960年代末，动荡时期，从一个贝尔法斯特长大的男孩的角度讲述的童年故事。
导演到底在表现啥个玩意儿啊
