The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. scan 没有真正无解的问题。婆婆大手大脚，但只是一时空虚，而且很明白事理；老公不是无能，只是暂时失业，还是有人脉有资源，而且会为家人找想。亲父母创业贷款，也不是真的财务危机。女儿未婚生子，女婿也不是真的不靠谱。儿子也能找到工作……就其实没问题。这种化解问题的方法，好像在说：那些问题不是那些问题……但真实的世界，可能就是有问题，那个问题就是那个问题。

漫画式电影，前半段真的很真实，后半段就真的很漫画了，看看就好^ω^女主手又长又细
好久没有看喜剧看到大爆笑，尤其是日式夸张drama喜剧。太多演员梗了，作为海海和五郎的粉丝很get。果然shared house抱团养老成为了养老趋势乌托邦。
没看完，实在看不下去，这片子大概就是找了个废物老公的下场吧
开头开的挺好了，事件冲突挺集中的，越往后开始飞了，但没有崩，总体还行
把名字换一下，这不都是中国的事儿吗，哈哈哈，故事很有意思，最终还是要有点正能量，也符合日本一贯的风格。
前半部分毕竟贴合实际很接地气，代入感相对不错，可后半部分却变成了宣扬日本主旋律核心价值观的宣传片，还搞了一个老套的所谓“生前葬礼”桥段，平淡乏味说教目的明显，最后的总结更像是给“养老合租房”做软广告推广，给你一种被骗着看了一个多小时“公益广告”的错觉。
最后，为了天海佑希看的这部片，竟然还默默埋着她在宝冢演男役的梗，而这个帅女子，真是把“人妻”演出了上下铺兄弟的感觉[破涕为笑]。电影最后，后藤夫妇搬进了共享公寓解决了养老问题，忽而想起天海佑希说自己不愿结婚的原因是不喜欢家里有别人……所以说，喜欢独立空间的人还是要努力挣钱
整体很轻松诙谐，疫情居家第二日看的。合家欢去焦虑化的开导喜剧。推荐！很温暖，特效也做得不错！
有点点好笑但看完又挺失望的，最后轻轻松松的happy ending有点太理想化了。有没有一个严肃的电影来讨论这个社会问题呢？
感觉前面铺垫了那么多，都是为了最后那几分钟的合租生活公益广告。
前半截5星，中间三星，最后0星，平均下来三星很靠谱吧？
沉重的社会性话题，拍浮夸了。虽然观片体验轻松乐呵。
粉饰太平，没有养老金真的是很严肃的问题，做不到这样愉悦的观看。

剧情丝滑流畅的黑色喜剧，骗养老金的片段笑断气；奶奶的金句一出便泪涌“人生可以任性一点”！奶奶已经89岁！我的偶像！
日本真是把中国未来要踩过的坑都踩了一遍，日本的养老金都被他们的政府拿来赌国运了。难怪五六十岁以上的老头都得出去打工，根本没有退休金。普通工薪阶层会被各种问题生活压死，难怪年轻人都躺了。
