The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     其实观众对亚瑟王和他继承者的故事没关系，没看过他们的民间诗歌也没关系。有隐喻也不是问题，但通篇密不透风都是隐喻，半点出气口都不留就是个问题。其实...通篇都是隐喻也能拍得很好，这就要看导演的功力了，动如《黑客帝国》静如《少年派的奇幻漂流》都是通篇隐喻，就撑得起来。总而言之，没金刚钻别揽瓷器活。

    8.1 对于传统神话故事的现代化解构，将这场冒险的起因由阴谋转为了权贵间的游戏，彻底了瓦解了骑士精神同时又赋予了高文爵士崭新的动机，一种在时间和空间错位之下非纯粹的追求，去除这种执念的他才能得以新生。电影的诸多意象符号处理的很复杂，一定程度上影响了观感，但仅就表层而言还是看得很爽的。
