The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不过，成也萧何，败也萧何。穿越机确实为影片贡献了很多新颖的视角和镜头，但是与传统镜头的衔接非常割裂，没有浑然一体，剪辑师和导演似乎还无法驾驭这一新奇的拍摄手段，没能将传统镜头运用与穿越机镜头运用融合在一起，但是从大胆创新的角度来说，本片中的穿越机镜头令人耳目一新，过目不忘。

在电影院可能由于大屏幕的缘故，出人意料有些好看，迈克尔·贝一贯的爆炸枪战戏加上偶尔的一点冷笑话，紧张感与幽默感兼具，黑白两劫匪之间的关系还是挺有意思的，这片若放九十年代也是港片的好题材。
