The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 孤独的乔尼将走向黑暗 留下的是那隽久的乐章，人们仿佛要穿越时光 去窥探那场最后的盛宴。
剧情普普通通，带点儿套路感，反正出事儿的时候，五条老师是跟好莱坞片里的警察一样，必定不在的。不过，打戏从头到尾都很出众，还给各种“剧情无关”人员出来露了个脸，水端得很平了。全场爆满，我真没想到德国人这么爱咒回。PS一些槽点：纯爱战神的配音跟我想象中不一样，我以为会是变声没完全结束的青春期少男，结果居然是完全没变声的小男孩感觉。
在及其冷静的氛围里制定大屠杀计划，只有利益掣肘，更没有制约和反对，一片欣欣向荣，稳中求胜，这个倒是很有亲切感。
沒看過動畫，覺得還不錯啦，除了有些地方有點尬，是說反派陣容裡有一個造型抄襲西索的人完全沒戲份到底來幹嘛的（。

当正儿八经的“电影”看肯定不及格，一切就还是二次元换汤不换药（既视感满满）的那套东西，整体的剧作和叙事节奏也比较差。当然制作和演出的水准是在线的，物理打光和虚拟摄影机的焦点变化都比较准确，动作戏的流畅度也在肉眼可见的燃烧经费，只是中二期过了，吃不下这一套了。（男主简直就是碇真嗣，毕竟连CV都是一个人）

历史题材的电影真是出一部想看一部，过几天还有盟军方面的绞肉行动
犹太人被系统性屠杀也是整个欧洲的罪恶，难怪当下的白左什么都愿意用种族灭绝去职责别人，他们是在自我赎罪。当初有多右，现在就有多左。
最令人唏嘘的有两点，一是法律专家认真讨论犹太人的定义，虽然不愿把犹太混血视为犹太人，但却提出对所有犹太混血绝育的方案；二是年长的内政官员一直担心这样繁重的任务是否对执行人员造成太大不良影响，最后在听到计划用毒气提高屠杀效率时终于放心。
高度一致，有序协调，科学规划，精准高效地制定欧洲犹太人动态清零计划。
以一种系统性的体制机制管理运作的官僚行政系统的例行会议，来讨论种族灭绝和大屠杀，这才是不寒而栗的地方依然是一部具有强大历史意义的影像。

这不过是一次会议，能拍得令心动魄实在不容易。还有不少这样的会议，以后也值得拍一拍。
