The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 视频里山崖的燕群飞起，埋没砂土里的恐龙遗骨，路旁仙人掌的密密荆刺，摊开手掌令星尘落于右手。这些令一路旷野不辨方向，也有星点光茫。在路上的人穿梭与停留，遇见再告别，并非没有其它选项，她只是可以继续依傍惯性~具体的孤独艰难爱与回忆是无处不在的东西，可以成为一条孤绝狭长路，通向生命终点带着独家记忆消亡。引用的两首莎士比亚，很是动人。

有点raw的画面质感不知是有意为之还是看的版本问题，刻意超出画框的大头和远景交替的镜头语言与意图抒情的叙事和媚俗配乐并不和谐。亚裔，全球化之衰落，现代化之过失，环保自然。政治正确到恶心，金狮给这么个片
观感上比《骑士》好很多，更多的是对情绪和状态的表达。

因为网速卡而看了无数遍的开头，以至于已经可以默背下分镜。过了很久回味起来，都能记起这个沉默、冷冽、利落的开篇。
孤独深处，苍凉的西部、公路色彩影片，这种迷茫和无依其实非常符合当下的美国社会现状。赵婷真的棒，作为外来者，能在自己的头几部长片就把握了现阶段美国精神的精髓，并且招募到如此优秀的演员和团队。Fern念的那首莎翁十四行诗恰好是我最喜爱的一首。

真诚与真诚之间，有一段温存的怀疑。赵婷喜欢将镜头裹着倾斜与呼吸感，怼到她关注的事物上去。她的特写透露着一种关切。
