The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 喜气洋洋喝碗911美国鸡汤。价值观不完全认同，因为立场差异很大，客观讲是好剧，因为我是客观立场。
如果没有疫情 去年的这个时候 我已经坐在文广 在现场成为了一名纽芬兰人
舞台与影像的结合实属惊艳，舞台戏剧本身的魅力也充分表现，同一演员、同一空间表现出了多样的形式，在疫情后的第一场百老汇演出确实惊艳。但戏剧内容实在平庸，讲来讲去不过是娱乐至死至上的美国价值说教，戏剧演员的格式化表演也无法承受镜头的张力……网上看到一半自觉无聊便退场。
一个狭小的场地进行广大空间的叙事，人多而不杂乱，事多而有序井然，第一次看到这样的舞台剧，没有繁杂的舞美，没有奢华的舞台，而演出了精彩的故事，大开眼界，大吃一惊！佩服佩服！
形式太有意思了，音乐剧真的拥有无限张力，安慰生活在2020年以后的我，那首Prayer太震撼了，Me and the sky机长好帅气。
挺煽情的，但不知道少了点什么总觉得不够打动人，可能是现在对于这种“对陌生人的慷慨和温情”已经充满了怀疑吧

20年计划的现场版被疫情无限延期，911 20年，初版演员们也都见老了。
看过现场，重看官摄还是很激动。记忆全部都回来了。有几个演员是发福了啊😂
经常发现眼泪先于大脑感受到情感，或者情绪，我不懂。
这真的是我看过现场调度最牛逼的剧了。
