The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 那不勒斯的氤氲往事，或者说是索伦蒂诺的私人往事，足球与电影，马拉多纳与费里尼。少年历经家庭变故，从一个城市走向另一个城市，带着过往的传说、青涩的梦想，走向成长、走向未来。
问题在于一开始以为是家族群像，后来发现外部境遇的变化都是施加给男主角成长的压力阀，但这个角色本身写的很干瘪，表演也缺乏层次感。不过群戏的视线剪辑看的还蛮过瘾…
纷华靡丽的镜头下费里尼式人物还有86年的时代记忆，无疑是索伦蒂诺等到了能够离内心自我有一段距离的时机，带着自传性质的身影重现那段时光。但会不会在Fabietto这个人物下多了一份空虚和不那么讨喜的为所欲为呢？

真正的坏蛋真的是那些臭名昭著的人吗？也许是那些有权有势，高高在上，以好人的身份掩盖罪恶的人；还是那些做过坏事，却选择掩盖过去，重新做自己的人呢......
