The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 叔侄二人的日常交流和对青少年的采访都是观人观己的过程，成人和孩童其实并没有那么界限分明，这是个蛮有趣的角度。又用到了Éthiopiques 21: Piano Solo里的曲子，上一次好像是《波尔图》，平添一丝温柔趣味。
分不清真实的边界在哪，可控的范围在哪，崩溃的握拳时机在哪。就是生活。
没有急躁和快节奏
第一观感是，为啥人小孩已经能做到对未来有这样独立自主而带有强烈社会责任感的话语，侃侃而谈，自信沉稳，满满小大人姿态，这是差距，跟文化有关，外显、热情、直接表达喜怒哀乐。
又一部以城市为背景板的聊天电影，叔叔与外甥的对话很舒服，“你一直在录音，那些噪音一直在冲刷着你的心，即使你以后会忘记所有事情，我也会提醒你”两个人在聊天与交往中互相成长，真好啊
小孩是小大人，大人是老小孩。还是会羡慕这种关系

黑白画面，悬浮出一种距离感，像飘忽在现实的海市蜃楼：每个人都会情商在线，既能倾听，又擅共情，说走就牵上小手一起异国他乡了！当故事看，能更衬出彩色真实世界里，日子过得斑驳琐碎，内心被羁绊着的分外孤独。
