The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. “Freedom is not free，它的代价是：一切！”他们不是穷凶极恶的恐怖分子，而是真正为自由和正义而战的勇士，最后的赴死一战很壮烈。全程紧张抓人，观赏性是足够的，不过作为真实事件改编，感觉拍得有点偏于商业化简单化了，并没太多可供思考回味的空间，如果深度上能再挖挖就更好了。

真实事件改编，节奏感非常好，全程无尿点。
虽然两位都是我喜欢的演员，但我还是更推荐剧版情感描写更细腻
想起小时候看的小人书《斯库台三英雄》。不过，部长女儿主动宣誓入伙，被莫名其妙击毙……后来假白女摘头套与劫持者拥抱……这些情节实在用力过猛、煽情过度了，逻辑不能自洽，我不相信这是真的。

真实历史事件改编，虽然不太懂南非历史、种族隔离制度、为了争取自由平等所做的牺牲，但是电影本身渐入佳境，高潮处戛然而止，还是有一定冲击力，不过也有不少问题铺垫不足。
