The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 柔软科幻，日式煽情，绝佳试听，苹果美学，潸然不停。当克隆成熟到不分你我，用“替代”走完自己未能走完的路。这是一个很好的假想，很有可能就是未来的先现。只是导演以含情脉脉的视角，展现了积极的一面。阿里一饰两角的温情演绎，仅是看着他的眼眸都能感受到满屏的blue。纤细、唯美、欲仙、纠葛，Jay Wadley仅凭这一部电影荣盛心目中Max Richter之后第二人。
