The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 大事件下的小人物的角度，很不错的musical
20年计划的现场版被疫情无限延期，911 20年，初版演员们也都见老了。
疫情看真的太应景了。黑暗中才更能看到善意的光。太温暖了。
太美好的歌舞剧了 只字不提911 奇妙的视角刻画了每一个人
真切感受到百老汇和国产音乐剧之间的差距...
音乐歌舞都非常精彩。很有力量。有时热血沸腾。有时温暖感人。很抓人情感。
同样是救灾，同样是绝望，同样是与世隔绝，但纽芬兰让人像个人
好爱女机长的独唱part明明只有几把椅子和几张桌子，却能够呈现给观众如此生动形象的场景变化
或许是因为版本的不同，或许是因为那个特殊时期，那时候的感受更加设身处地一些，看到危机时候的互帮互助，以至于那时哭的很厉害。9.11二十年之际，没有谁会忘记那次悲痛，对于整个人类来说，都是一次巨大的反思。rock小镇是那样的开放，包容，I am islander！！！那些乘客，在危机面前，是那样的从容与乐观。机长姐姐的“me and sky”依然是全场的聚焦点。

2/26 @ Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. 最近新闻看的焦虑, 这一场及时给我打了一针强心剂. I am an islander, so should everybody.
舞台利用最大化，每一位演员都身兼多名角色，性格反差明显，特别优秀。
形式惊人，转场等各种充满想象力。分扣在歌曲并没有特别抓耳。
真的好想看一次现场。
又看了一遍，我的人道主义和理想主义之光，不管再看多少遍都会热泪盈眶😢
灾难来临前的鸡毛蒜皮是生活的全部，人们活得恍恍惚惚、显得单纯幼稚。一旦灾难过境，人的善良、乐观和坚韧又常常爆发出惊人的能量。纽芬兰的这个小镇恰是如此。
就个人而言，这部音乐剧给我的感触不是很深，可能某些剧情会有所触动，里面的音乐也没能让我记忆犹深。
