《椒麻堂会》的镜头构图十分考究，和《白蛇传·情》一样，如梦如幻一般，具有一定的魔幻和荒诞色彩，切合电影主题，又呈现出了一个时代的特点，意境极高，一看就是一部制作精良的作品。

因为它体现了贾晓玲的自卑和丧，她觉得自己活着什么用都没有，她凭借自己无法让母亲过上更好的生活，所以她才想出这个办法。
A new old play 非常不错，拍摄手法和画面都很棒，全剧四川话也让我感觉十分亲切。每一个转折点都是一首判词来揭晓，新又新。很久没看华语片了，很惊喜。唯一觉得不足的是，太长了。
电影有时候很神奇，真诚比技巧重要。观众往往能因为真诚而选择性忽略导演匮乏的技巧，剧作上的漏洞，甚至人物上的仓促和单薄。

提前看影评说会哭的稀里哗啦 所以看的时候我一直在憋着等最感人的时候再哭 结果憋着憋着就结束了……
好哭不等于质优，但汹涌的真情让故事的动人量级无限拔升。我深信无数背负心债的儿女被李焕英震碎了泪水阀门包括我，哭的不是母亲大爱也不是时光逆流，梦可补圆，而是有这么一次释放来填充现实对母亲的亏欠，对本我的埋怨。裂痕终无法缝补，矛盾也无法被偿还，我们心里都知道。这不妨碍冷酷的我们偶尔被染一点点温情之色。就这么一次也好。
