剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     改编得很不错，在音乐剧原作的基础上，加入作为一部电影可以加的全部：宏大的舞台背景，沉浸式运镜，复杂走位的群舞，每个人的近景及心理描述 —— 尽力地在细节上让故事线充盈。电影节奏控制到位，让音乐与舞蹈自然融入台词中，很少有音乐剧电影常见的“一言不合就开唱”的违和感。电影还大量融入西班牙语对白，并且不配字幕，把语言间的隔阂与交融坦白呈现。遗憾就是男女主角之间不管是对唱还是对舞都毫无火花，让原本放在当代视角已不甚合理的一见钟情式故事线显得更不可信。主线没有撑起来，全靠支线找补。

    生存在帮派和民族仇怨之间的爱情故事。歌舞表演都很精彩，就是场景转换的处理有些太过突兀，很多剧场中的表演形式和戏剧冲突放在电影中不加以改编就显得不那么合适了。
