The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 科学家用“抱错女儿”的理由得到Wednesday，亚当斯一家怀疑但只是拼命躲开科学家，有点牵强。
片子后半部分呈现出的人与人之间的温馨感让人动容，但是编剧在剧情安排和细节刻画上的把握明显功力欠佳，总体节奏控制力一般。最后总有一种感觉，是不是老得掉牙的迟暮米国老人也比墨西哥这个屎坑地方强上千万倍，希望这只是我这种贰佰伍脑残的恶意揣测。另，克伊爷爷真的是太特么上岁数了，走路都费劲，下次拍个养老院题材的直接坐轮椅多好……

哥特主题电影最后变成巨型八爪鱼大战异型大公鸡，编剧实在是太弱智，照着原来的真人版重拍一遍动画都比这强
