The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 歌舞片连里面的歌都不好听，那就没什么好说了，更何况还有股浓浓的脱节感。
为何总在梦想终点止步？为何总会留下遗憾？那便是生命的倒数时刻在无声呐喊。
艺术家短暂的一生，遗憾的爱情，无人理会的才华，贫苦的生活，从痛苦中开出绚烂的花。加菲的表演太动人。比《吉屋出租》完成度高很多，这才是音乐剧电影应该有的样子，音乐和剧情完美融合。
林-曼努尔·米兰达确实是有才，这个电影我感触太多了，Jonathan Larson，Respect.
对音乐剧也谈不上兴趣
很多即兴音乐段落很棒，甚至有几段相当天才。4星。
最好玩的是那段去广告公司做研究小组赚外快。-I don’t understand how u can take any of this seriously. -because they pay me. -money isn’t everything. -Well it doesn’t hurt. -are u sure about that?
诙谐向歌舞片，故事拍的一般，吹的人醉翁之意不在酒
对于歌舞片来说，歌好听，就成功80%了，加上剧情不错，人生短暂，为梦而拼
“牢笼还是翅膀，去问鸟吧；恐惧还是爱，别回答，行动比语言更响……”
林漫威的自我投射过剩。。唱段拍得挺动听的，但离动人有好远距离，有那么多情绪充沛的时刻却至于看完一遍后没有任何一段留下印象
TTB明显是为奥斯卡设计的，剧中剧、音乐剧和传记片放在一起，又有同性恋、毒品这些议题穿插打底，剧作的设计感太足，得奖的使命感也过于直白。对于一个没看过百老汇《RENT》的普通观众而言，很难共情，即便是本该成为亮点的音乐，也被剧情拆解地支离破碎，有佳句无佳章，况且编剧对于Jon的生活境遇处理地过于敷衍潦草，艺术之于生活的纠结也是浮于表面。剧作扎实的音乐剧还是Walk the Line，有神鬼演出的Joaquin Phoenix都没能拿奖，加菲猫明显这次更不够格了。
背后的故事比电影本身更感人。最喜欢的歌也是为女孩写的那首。

大概是年度最佳音乐剧吧，扎实、流畅，在传记片中加入了对时间和生命的探讨，只不过爱情线一如既往的无聊。
观众可以想象他之前的八年时光，一定度过了无数的无眠夜晚。可这部剧从未完整的登上过舞台，几年没日没夜的努力瞬间归零。
梦想与爱情，配上音乐是绝佳的组合。

但同时又是“不好看”的，也许舞蹈设计太简单了，连着摄影、剪辑、灯光、布景……原本九十年代的纽约应该更加五光十色的啊！（毕竟LMM是舞台剧出身，这算是先天不足吧）
