A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.
Flodders (1986) is available on DVD in Germany in a dubbed German version in Dolby Digital 5.1. under the name:

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

歌剧不像歌剧，剧情却又稀烂的套壳北欧哈姆雷特记，完全没有任何的改编，有的只是自以为是的大段唠叨。妮可·基德曼是唯一吸引人的看点，无奈整体拉垮，独木难支
浪漫主义的、古典戏剧式的、精准的、美感的，英雄的旅程。它唤醒着我对故事、电影原本样貌的最本初记忆。毫无共鸣的人呐，莫用肤浅筑妄言。
妮可·基德曼的表演可以封神。剧情和亚历山大的表演中规中矩，但还是有亮点。安雅反正又像在拍画报。
皇后这个角色不错，还原维京生活的部分有点意思。
4.5。Cosmopolis的形式里套着Crash的隐喻体系。视听可以用炫酷来形容，赏心悦目和耳，喜欢布景。概念做得彻底且接近完美，大段对话中抛出了几个浅白的大标语，但这是有一定的自反性质在的（比如，电视屏展示“身体即现实”的标语，一个虚构的媒介告诉观众什么是真实的悖论，充满了欺骗的世界）可以自圆其说，不过更多写在纸面上的自反也很可能说明着他不一定能再做出Crash那类无声胜有声的作品了。另外，题材上全是他玩过的，可能是个集大成，很可惜没看到太新的东西，他用新技术把概念完成到极致，但概念本身却不够有趣。
被IMDB的高分骗了，应该是近年来影院观影体验最煎熬的一部了，刚过半就想离场了。本来中世纪脏不垃圾的画风就已经让人生理不适了，还故意将镜头对准各种骷髅，爆头，死尸，各种血腥长特写，而且不是昆汀那种血腥，而是非常写实的肮脏的静态长镜头大特写！配合吵得人头疼的人兽吼叫，不得不让人怀疑片子是奔着催吐去的。也别扯啥艺术性了，bachelor测试一条都过不了，原著中哈姆雷特的困惑和思考都没有了，就是个男人们杀来杀去，女人和孩子受难的故事。
6.5分。阿姆雷斯本来就是哈姆雷特的故事原型，指责故事老套没有必要。故事的问题在于女性角色的处理，从片中Olga对自己能力的评价和王后角色的结局可以看出，剧本是有想过表达女性在奴隶制部落国家所展现的独特力量的，预言也揭示了maiden king的存在；然而Olga最后之所以男主被抛弃和认可，仅仅是因为自己带有国王的血肉，她的价值还是生育机器，本应成为王后对立面的她陷入和王后如出一辙的悲剧，也没有其他的戏份去展现她通过自己的力量去抗衡这种父权制。爱情线是其中最奇怪的，瓦基里出现后的戏份都不对路，过于明亮鲜艳的滤镜，驰骋冰岛用的航拍镜头，这影响到了整部电影的拉斯疯格调（女性被压迫+肢解镜头+男主姓斯卡斯加德），甚至影响到了爱情线本身，男女主野战的镜头可是疏远而冰冷，符合男主被仇恨和预言驱动的人设
到底是哪个天才想出来的让Nicole演Alexander的妈…他俩吵架直接穿越到《大小谎言》去了。几场恐怖的戏拍得最精彩，史诗部分就太一般了。可惜了这么多好演员。
这是一部期待很久，看完觉得很诡异的电影。当我意识到Hamlet应该是一个Viking的时候，我突然就觉得所有的Hamlet的服装和角色都不符了。这就是我看这部电影的感觉，不同片段画风融合得不是太理想的，有点莎士比亚那种诗意文绉绉的台词、一部分北欧神话、一部分北欧民俗歌舞、葬礼之类。妮可和Alex之前演过夫妻，现在演母子，里面还有一个奇怪的吻，这个场景比复仇过程中的任何场景都刺激。
【1】觉得Eggers从《灯塔》就已经走歪，现在则可以确认了。已经对这套千篇一律的创作法感到疲惫，摘取民俗志怪或神话传说，尽力让视觉与听觉更风格化（这次则还需要宏大！更多鼓点，更多吼叫，更大规模），动作上追求造型感，拍摄运动长镜头。实质是在掩饰意识上的苍白，毕竟在渐强的叙事节奏中最终走向的却是可见的庸俗，没有勇气哪怕如N.W.R的旧作般迈向激进。跟《沙丘》真的不是姊妹篇吗？
故事中最带感的冲突点是男主妈这个角色，妮可基德曼飙戏看得很爽，加一星。
虚实交融和长镜头令人想起伊纳里图的《还魂者》。 诡异民俗的梦呓和嘶吼、星光下的屠杀和交媾。受自然和神灵引领支配的复仇之旅，冰冷国度与炽热火山上的宿命之歌。（口音太重+口齿不清导致很多台词没听懂反而意外加强了某种仿佛神志不清的浸入感🌚）
Fantastic! 史诗感，宿命感。只有北欧这种世界尽头才能烘托出神话一样的故事。英雄
可以消化塑料到底是变异还是进化？
有点史诗感的叙事诗，三部作品可以说是完全不同。这部电影有点完全不同的感觉
是活下去，那反抗组织就是真相，而小黑就是谎言。
a story about a bunch of muscular nordic dudes with heavy English accents angrily hacking each other to death ( due to the lack of a one-child policy ). I don't feel much for those dudes with questionable mental stability, but I feel sorry for the horse who got its head chopped off for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. R.I.P horse.
