The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. TIFF2021 #9: 本届最期待的一部片子，看完想要悄悄藏起来的电影。
剧情一般，也不知说了点啥，全冲着两个女主角去的。
没明白为什么不一起逃走，为什么要一个换一个吗？
能通灵的年轻女主被男权社会摧残，继而感化同为女性的护士，祝她逃出疯人院的故事。
铺得不够 结尾升华得有点勉强了 但还是值得一看
可以对比《飞越疯人院》看，看看主角的表现的差异，看看评论的差异。
3.4 伴随着大提琴的风声，今晚很难分清谁才是疯子。
掙脫父權社會的枷鎖⋯⋯Nous sommes libres, nous sommes fortes, et nous sommes éternelles.
一直延续到最后的精神胜利法令人难受。不过电影里隐喻的女性牢笼，以及女性在社会蛮力压迫下的生不由己势单力薄，却都是切切实实即使换个时代背景也可以感受到的。
单从故事性上来看，本片三星。最后护士长在能走的情况下选择留下，这点无论如何想不明白，她的留下并没有给女主提供有利的逃走因素。片中多处出现的对比映像（女主和护士长的后颈、穿衣、脱衣），以及服化道都是很悦目的，再加一星。
多年过去了，女神变成熟了。女性向作品，女性版飞跃疯人院。
女性的历史，女性的叙事。成片已经能够配得上它的立意了。
在疯女人的舞会中，最荒诞的却是衣冠楚楚的男人。处在如此环境之中，不疯也会被逼疯。
瘋不瘋就所謂醫師的個人意願確定？整片感覺這不是醫院更像是集中營，灰暗沉重。
独立自由思想的女性在父权眼里就是通灵的异端女巫，医院精神病院就是宗教裁判所。但是本片电视剧质感，缺乏亮点。
可怕的的是，这样的事情还在眼前发生，以疯癫来欺压女性的世界，从来没结束过。
如果她出去后，能把整个邪恶势力铲除，把她救出来就好了
在男权环境中，girls help girls 。
剧情一般。看点是唱段的动画设计，单独拎出来都是不错的mv，不过唱段水平也一般。色彩运用很不错，很有热带风味。
You are more than the gift.最重要的不是什么天赋和魔法，而是自尊自爱自强。
