A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
我更愿意把洪常秀的电影当作一场影像实验，常带给人一种神奇的体验。镜头所能捕捉到的事物仅仅是他们所反射的光线通过镜头投射到传感器上的二维投影而已；电影之所以得以存在，是因为人脑的抽象能力，可以把碎片化的信息整合起来形成一个完整的对外界事物的认知。语言是一种更加抽象的投影。就像手语，几个动作就能白日漫漫和散步的想法表现得生动到位。而当我们习惯了抽象，遇到一个特别具象的事物反而会觉得陌生，大脑的抽象思维开始失灵——由此生发出一种隐隐的不安和对自己的不确定，不知在真实与虚构之间该如何切换了。
装作不在乎别人看法出轨在一起，其实心里在意的要死每个电影都在给自己洗白，不是很喜欢这种别扭的人，跟侯麦真的差远了

3.5 除了比以往更大方秀恩愛，敏喜美得讓人心顫blah blah blah⋯《소설가의 영화》的李慧英是《당신얼글 앞에서》的李慧英的反面，過氣小說家靈機一動嘗試為拍部電影寫故事、呼應觀眾「敏喜不需要你的可惜」、「新娘來了」、「I love you」，給我的感覺似乎更有從前虛實不分的觀感了。——22.06.04
要不是因为这个名字，都不想看洪常秀了。像他这样拍电影，一个月能拍六个。吃饭时过爆，捧花时虚焦……最低级的错误都没有人提了。片尾转彩色更是用烂了。
金敏喜太美了。美到模糊了真实与幻觉的边界。生活永远是要重归于平淡，一个人坐电梯的瞬间，顶楼抽烟的瞬间。邂逅辉映灵光后还是要重返Alleinsein。（其实我没看懂，但是手捧鲜花的彩色金敏喜太美了。）
溢於言表。
当尖利的语言与世俗的棱角在遇到金敏喜之后一切都变成了灵魂共振式的激赏，诚然贯穿始终的是对于创作的阐释与解构，但也很难不觉得导演是借小说家之口表达对金敏喜的热爱，那美好甚至是堆砌的。到结尾在虚构中凝视虚构，反而用摄影机拉回到真实，观众在跟随导演一起思考电影中真实与虚构的关系、体验调度的神奇之外，同样怀疑这是否一场大银幕上的洪金婚礼，此时再回看整部电影的脉络，会发现不论导演设置了几重文本，他与金敏喜之间的爱情之路——冲破世俗互相欣赏到结婚（暂时不可能）都是喧宾夺主的。但当观众执着于八卦的时候，那种身不在场的转换和对电影概念的思考又完成了某种嘲讽。3.5.
洪常秀和蔡明亮的电影都是随笔型，独辟蹊径，远离商业
洪尚秀的电影慢来慢去，只要金敏喜一出现，真的立刻就会灵动起来。好像无论拍出怎样的形式，最后拍的都是金敏喜。又或者可以说，金敏喜在荧幕上的存在，本身就是洪尚秀所有表达的最好出口。
对金敏喜夹带私货的彩虹屁让人不断分神，这样的故事似乎让纯业余电影来讲述更有「元电影」的味道，而洪常秀充满程式化且自我炫耀式的腔调则越来越令人生厌。
很难评价，看完最直观的感受是：这也可以？但这既不算否定，也不算钦佩，或是认为其庸常，只是不知道该作何评价。依赖演员的表演，在极为日常自然的对话中偶有细腻的不动声色的乍泄的灵光，也能看到摄影机及其背后富有感情的视点，但又会怀疑，对于一部电影来说，这便足够了吗？即便洪在影片中，借着角色的对谈也在试图调侃，或者说，消解这个怀疑。介于成本和团队规模，能做到这种成色的创作，是太过随意的，但又是不简单的。想来想去，只能用“自由”来作评价，他可能拥有着许多人都希望拥有的创作状态，不受限制地将那些如日记一般私藏的情感和灵光表现出来，至于别人能共情与否，也许都不重要。

最后的vlog加一星，从29:40金敏喜首登场，到76:17醉酒断片，正好是47分钟的小说家的电影。另外你们文青洋洋洒洒写一大段，却都没人注意到片头破天荒出现了NEW公司的logo，老洪能在这个境况得到大厂支持绝对是雪中送炭。PS：华策有持股NEW，可以期待一波引进甚至内地公映。
金敏喜太迷人了，被结尾的笑容和告白甜晕了，好的我就是窗外目不转睛盯着她看的小女孩。一般情侣在vlog秀恩爱，人俩在电影节上秀。

洪的《偶然与想象》，属于女性的轻喟和低回。
我怎么觉得洪尚秀最近几部片子从狠狠挤兑男的也开始挤兑女的了呢？
女性与女性之间的互相欣赏，两人的轨迹因散步而重合，变得形影不离，至小说家的电影放映而分离。最后被一万点伤害暴击…
阴间美学可还行，天色尚早，没有响起的闹铃，神秘的小女孩，大道至简。
