The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 恐怖力度一般般，但是有趣的地方在于这个案件是影迷策划的，电影台词里都是对这些经典恐怖电影的致敬和玩梗，更不用说还有对系列电影的旧事重提……也太好玩了！
有点差啊，虽然女主挺喜欢的，但不适合这种打扮…可能长得太现代了？
除了片名和人物关系的壳，基本已经没有原作的影子了，还有该死的政治，有那么多各种肤色的贵族，迫不及待想要重温一下原著，强化一下自己的记忆了。

说实话其实感觉没太看懂 我以为金钟云是主角来着 发现其实都是公主的镜头hhh
少女与纹身，少女与挖掘机，宁静与轰鸣，种种不和谐因素是对坚强，无力，无奈，反抗别致且深刻的象征，金惠允大荧幕首秀即是满满的表现力不负演剧时带给人的期待。
真女性电影啊这部，女孩儿们团结的胜利。
后面剧情转的些许生硬，甚至有些荒诞离奇，但是有些台词还是很奥斯汀的

属于看过就会忘记的电影，恐怖片系列电影，基本上就是借着原有口碑，继续圈点钱。这部是讲两个重度影迷，不满意第四部的电影剧情，决定自己来扮演恐怖杀人狂，然后打打杀杀，最后被主角干倒了。
虽然有点虎头蛇尾，或者说蛇头蛇尾，但看到少女开推土机把傻逼家推平就很爽。谁说以卵击石就是找死，和从宫本到你一样的复仇决心，我会用我的方式唾弃你摧毁你
记得有句话说的很好：那些表面上看起来酷酷的、有纹身、形似不良的女孩，往往都是内心最善良最柔软的。她们只是受够了被欺负，才故意把自己打扮成很「厉害」的样子。这便是她们的「壳」，更她们自己给自己的「安全感」。对于短评里嘲笑慧英脑子不好的，我只想说，如果让那个年纪的你去经历她所经历的一切（自幼丧母，父亲脑死亡，一个人带着年幼的弟弟，叫天不应叫地不灵），你不见得会有她一半的坚强。
我以为我不看不上爱情片，原来只是那些爱情片拍的太烂了。

作为青春复仇片，人狠话不多，关键的推土机反而给本片后面变得挺B级的
这是我看的第一版《劝导》，小说和之前的版本都没看过，所以并未感受到有太多改编上的不适宜性。电影来说，我是喜欢的，包括选角，越发喜欢达科塔约翰逊了。小说后续补上，不知道简奥斯汀所描述的世界又是什么样子的。(>^ω^<)
人物出场和故事线都是由女主对着镜头讲述串联起来，感觉很新颖，男女情感铺垫太少了，不过还是一贯的简奥斯汀原著改编电影的风格，是我喜欢的。
对自身系列以及其他知名恐怖片的致敬/玩梗倒是一次不错的“续集”的尝试，比起生硬的“电锯惊魂9”更能让影迷们兴奋。可是好像本片也只能靠这些手段来续着时长了，一些剧情片段经不起细想，只能用“导演故意的”来解释过去（不过开橱柜门/冰箱门那段还是挺有趣的）。看完后感觉是《幸存的女孩》的龙凤胎，也算是这几年不错的续集类电影了。
