The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 拍了部烂片然后说这片是片中片也没法摆脱自己是烂片的现实 这么个好的点子创意就这么糟蹋剥削掉了
说实话这个创意就已经值得4星了，这就是创新和想象力。
还是不太行。感觉像周星驰30年前的电影，还不如周星驰搞笑。
还有什么能比演自己更孤注一掷拯救职业生涯的办法呢？总之凯奇是做了，谈不上做得多么出色，但也确实需要一定勇气，拿以往辉煌作品开涮，自黑成为习惯的台词在告诉我们，他真的想重新开始。前段非常有趣，中间开始俗套，片尾大战糊弄了事，导演对不起凯奇。至于结尾破墙后的段落，我相信那是凯奇的真情实感，毕竟从孩提时代一路看过来他的作品，好的坏的，也是在其中注入了自己的感情，我懂。
略显浮夸，但确实挺可爱的，尤其是那些WTF moments（自己亲自己测试吻技什么鬼！），真亏他们想得出。
低于预期
震惊，尼古拉斯凯奇还好意思吐槽女儿品味？！我现在相信有导演和编剧是为某演员量身定制剧本了。
片中那个尼古拉斯凯奇“周边博物馆”真的好评！看来他最被观众记得的作品还是巅峰三部曲：变脸、空中监狱、勇闯夺命岛。下一部帕丁顿熊2提上日程！
2022.06.06：尼古拉斯·凯奇在电影中饰演自己，联想到日剧《山田孝之的戛纳电影节》《有村架纯的休工期》，本来还挺期待片中的“迷影”情节，结果给我的惊喜却不及《奇奇与蒂蒂：救援突击队》，倒是有些意外反复提到我很喜欢的《卡里加里博士的小屋》《帕丁顿熊2》…… 个人整体观感有些没达到原来的期待值。-2022.06.07 ★★★☆
对凯奇没啥感情，但迷影情怀很难不被打动。自己演自己，以及分裂一个名字演分裂的自己，刺激绑架元素要有讽刺剧情烂俗也要有，对自我的审视和对电影的感情确实让它变得非常特别
大概有那么三五秒钟是真诚的，剩下的时间都湮没在莫名其妙之中。

但能够再看到尼古拉斯·凯奇出演正常电影也不错
当那些熟识的桥段与名字映入眼睑，他与我们都知道，既然曾经拥有，便是天长地久。
凯奇值得更好的一部解构自己过气影星身份的电影。
