The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 鸡很抢戏，最直观感受是东木真的力不从心了，除了剧作上所做出的工整保守的选择外，曾经最强硬的牛仔如今一场简单的驯马戏也只能无奈地用远景和半身镜来为使用替身藏拙。除此之外东木所展现出的超越年龄的精力和状态仍然令人叹服。

合家欢电影，人物刻画更多的吃设定。没看过前作的话不太友好，会一头雾水。不过，作为轻松愉快的电影观看体验还算及格。
作为演员肉身的东木，作为活跃银幕半个世纪的角色形象之总和的东木，和作为本片导演和主演的东木，如此之多的印记挤压在了同一具苍老的身躯之中，观众无法从过往的观影经验中完全剔除所有关于他的印象，他当然也不能。在这种情况下，“迟缓”和“愚钝”似乎是一种状态的必须，似乎只有通过这样才能触碰到某些真实的东西，但我说不清楚那是什么。
故事线太单薄了，老爷子又导又演实在有点力不从心了。

公路美景，半路艳遇，治愈且温暖，东木老爷子用自己的镜头和台词来表达他想对观众说的话。真的是老当益壮，91岁高龄。真正把生命献给电影的人

只能说，91岁的东木不应该以这部片子作为结尾，光荣的一声应该有华丽的谢幕，这也不是完美的世界，仿佛低配版本的，一直觉得老爷子是美国传统精神的象征。再来一部，像科比一样谢幕吧。
