The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 电影讲述的是由图图组建的霸王龙小分队和“牛魔王”爷爷一起来到了老年之家，为了不让孤寡老人感到孤独，精心的准备了一场联欢会，为老人们带来快乐。最后又召集了全国各地的小朋友一起来给各地的老人送去惊喜和欢乐。电影的立意很好，教育小朋友要做好事，关爱孤寡老人。
挺尴尬的动画片。带孩子们看的。希望国产动画片越来越好看。

图图是全世界最好的小朋友！虽然故事老套前半段就是动画版的拼凑，但立意很正、整体温馨，反正主要也是看个情怀。
影片从老人和孩子两个社会的弱势群体的视角，通过孩子给老人准备惊喜表演节目，倡导社会关爱孤独寂寞的老龄人口。中间还穿插着保护环境，废物利用的立意，适合小朋友观看。影片结尾时串烧了小邋遢，黑猫警长等动画片的主题曲，唤醒了我们这一代童年的记忆。那个每天放学后回家守着电视看动画片的日子一去不复返了啊！

里面的内容其实主要还是以前动画片时出现过的，但它结合了现在的人文，重新编排了一下。很喜欢，主题也很鲜明，希望我们可以多关爱老人。
大人就别凑小孩子的热闹了…现在回过头来看动画片，真的好幼稚。
竟然也是关于离开。想起我认识一个大佬竟就是在柬埔寨做房地产的，啊，这个总觉得有点造孽。没有做梦的《加加林》。没有人舍得离开故土，毕竟我们都来自于故土，脚上带着来处的泥巴，身上留着过去的血液，心里惦记曾经的诺言。这是切肤之痛。可是，人生不得不向前看，舍不得一根脚趾，就会失去整个小腿，哎，我们都理智点，赌气拉扯并没有是么实际帮助。
炒冷饭，这就是原来《大闹天宫》的上海制片厂吗？毁经典还给自己掉价，怪不得没拍片，千万别看。一星我感觉真的都多。
