The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影拍摄得非常唯美，即使是在最悲惨的境遇下，画面依旧是美的。但是从剧情上来说，立意略显单薄，淘金热这一时代背景有很多可以刻画的内容，却被粗粗带过。
中规中矩，剧情略老套，但男女主还是挺养眼的
