The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 还不如再去看一遍空中监狱或者变脸亦或者勇闯夺命岛……
这么好的题材拍成动作喜剧其实觉得挺可惜的，我更期待伍迪艾伦那样略带失意和自嘲的轶事喜剧，但这样做的原因也在片子里说了，“不然没有观众会买单的”。好吧，那就这样吧。
影片中，凯奇饰演一个叫尼古拉斯·凯奇的演员，他拼命想在昆汀的新片中拿到一个角色；他还时不时跟一个幻想中的1990年代的自己谈话，会吐槽如今的他拍了太多烂片，已经过气，不再是大明星了；他还欠了大量债务；该片映射现实中的凯奇自身，还致敬凯奇的很多电影。
人和模型渐渐重合那镜头很绝
说实话这个创意就已经值得4星了，这就是创新和想象力。
基治本是个好演员，毁于烂片。他还能焕发第二春吗？
6.2 可以meta但没必要，编导好像完全没有搞明白为什么《改编剧本》能如此受欢迎，喜剧性源于对于现实生活的自反而非无聊的戏中戏故事，第三幕也因此完全跑偏了，宁愿看到一个cia特工都是演员假扮的神经病剧情也不想吃已经炸到发馊的爆米花式ending。虽然但是，凯奇的咆哮式演技真的很适合演喜剧，请多演《Mandy》。

所以说还是要多拍戏，有代表作让人怀念，有烂片用来自黑哈哈哈哈哈哈

27.04.2022 | 这个不知道算不算是喜剧的东西并没有逗乐我，全程太尬了。近期的院线中可期待的难道只有Men和NOPE了吗。（这还要等到海枯石烂）
还是有一丝烂片的味道，个中元素不少但是不够入味。
剧情很套路，但还是恭喜Cage还完所有债务，希望真的能王者归来。
这部片子凯奇想要表达的是：拍戏只是我的工作，老子怎么选剧本与你们有屁关系？更没打算转折…但这位导演又拍成了上一部《尴尬时刻》的尴尬时刻。
片子没有点子本身好笑也是挺让人意外的，可能还有因为期待太高吧，不过这本子拍出来编剧可以吹一辈子吧，人生成就➕1
