The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有光明，当然就会有影子。看此片深层的感慨，并不是徐的手段或金的理想，而是关于那个偷鸡蛋的故事。邻居偷了你的鸡蛋，你会做何选择，他又会有怎样的抉择。使理想充盈的从不是个体的觉醒，而是古人所言的仁，是两个人，是所有人。
两位男主都太纠结太拧巴了，残留着理想主义是不是一种政治上的幼稚病？韩国电影还保持着对政治惊悚和历史题材的热情，也是世界影坛的幸事了

有点掉书袋和刻意了。最喜欢是鸡蛋故事的首尾呼应以及电影中的光影。
韩国拍政治片确实独到，金大中对影子幕僚的态度值得玩味，党魁选举这场戏惊心动魄，只是还是略理想化了点。薛景求和李善均稳得不行。
