The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有两小时的交待，竟然这么一塌糊涂，给四星的都是nc粉，剧情发展漏洞百出，各种突兀，一两个就算了，简直一堆。完全可以避免的，太不用心，也挺浪费卡司。也可能就是钱都花在演员身上了，没钱花时间打磨剧本和后期剪辑了。

傲慢与偏见的剧本痕迹太明显，但是看到最后又很难不感动。我们跟简奥斯汀的期许不一直都是一样的么，在一个明媚的夏天，遇到一个改变一生的人。现实中或许从未实现过，幸好，我们有小说，我们有电影。

不好看也不好笑，是连主演都不好看的那种；倒不如在岛上看海看日落
对奥斯汀作品的一次还算有趣的改编，将泛美同志生态圈的现状、阶层差异和共同憧憬用比较轻松的方式展现，不乏让人会心一笑的桥段，但整体观感更像情景喜剧的组合，浪漫甜度爆满杰克苏式的童话外衣并不能掩盖其内核情感的肤浅和空洞。
