The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 故事开始愉快而轻松，在一起的顺其自然，热恋期的如胶似漆，到相处中隔阂渐显。都知道相互理解，相互陪伴，但承诺容易实践难。不得不说相爱难，相处更难。

客观来说还是比较适合情侣看的一部爆米花片，传统套路，没啥亮点。
结尾很仓促，但好感人。问题不是什么在没能力的时候谈爱情，而且没有办法平衡陪伴和时间这两件事。可能最后不分手也办法彼此推一把。谈恋爱结婚都还是挺耽误事
打着都市情侣情感现状的幌子，却始终切不中有说服力的现实问题，相聚与分离都显得过于儿戏，男性与女性被冠上了不同的滤镜，讨好女性观众的意图过于直白。可悲的是，明明现实中的情侣日常有太多更加值得讨论的争吵原因，复合也并非只是因为感动于听取了曾经的建议，将分手责任归因到工作忙碌或是否成功是罕见的，往往一方不爱了才是身边最常听到的原因，而对对方的不满也时常造就了来自双方口中两种不同的解释……
想写happy ending就不要说自己是中国版花束般的恋爱啊

综合来看，跨年档最不恶心的电影，毛晓彤杨玏演技也挺好。
看到了作，看到了自我和食言，并没有太多相濡以沫…可能片中没有太多的狗血，有的是一些鸡毛蒜皮的小事，会让部分观众感同身受，是不给两星的原因…
