The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 槽点太多，不知道从哪儿喷，除了卖萌和卖腐外一无所有的电影工业垃圾。合着憋了这么多年的大招“邓布利多之谜”就是“我妹是默默然”，原著党六年前第一次看到默默然的设定就想到阿利安娜了。大卫·叶茨他一拍电影的，懂个锤子的哈利波特。
降低预期后再看其实还行 其实我也只是为了逃避。魔法太美好了 动物太可爱了 不丹太美了 哪怕只有两小时 也想暂时逃离这个操蛋的世界
天才数学家、师生情谊、韩式青春校园、南北关系的混合，虽然剧本很老套但发现自己很吃温情这一套。片中反应的数学教育和研究的问题，让我深有感触，全都把数学作为达成目的的工具，反而少有人发现她的美。天才就应该在与世无争的环境中去尽情施展才华。电影把数学和音乐结合起来，不说教的展现数学的魅力可圈可点；老戏骨和新生代演员的对戏也是看点。
导演编剧引入这位外来者显然是要批评反思韩国当前的应试教育，崔岷植饰演的数学家在黑板上书写公式，用圆周率演奏钢琴的那种表情状态太让人羡慕了。反而南韩的老师却在教育小孩去揣摩出题人的想法，一味去追求「正确答案」。

野心很高，国民自信心很强，给我们十个导演也不敢拍这种假设。/数学渣滓我几度落泪。/学校演讲太过儿戏已经无法欺骗正常成年人减一星，除此之外实在浪漫。/很容易代入主角，我常想我的父亲也是这样，好像是一个影子一样在我的生活中来去，遥远得如同不曾存在过，因而期盼这样一个神衹般的依靠，因而居然和他离没离开并没有关系。
开头是场约会诶（还被删了一句），🤔感觉全篇都是工具人/动物，有点冗长但能接受。※还能和朋友们一起出来看首映~知足了
真的一直走神儿看不下去，这不是一个商业片吗，为什么又感觉是个文艺片，慢慢悠悠，又无重点…
单片质量好坏倒不是关键，关键是很多奇葩设定会严重影响整个系列。比如想到哈利波特里阿不思最喜欢跟小男生挤眉弄眼，本来一副老顽童的可爱，现在倒变成可怖了。5
喜欢这种丑萌丑萌的小动物。用动物影射人，有一定的意义。

这是我头一次感受到原来蛇也可以那么可爱，虽说是第二部，看了下第一部的预告，大概是一几年的片子，简直没法看，跟第二部不能说不一样，简直就是毫无关联，不能比较，比较的的话就是碾压，不建议看第一部，直接看2就好了，就是全新的剧情，除了标题的2可以忽略还有就是考拉，因为主角不只是考拉，甚至考拉的戏份并不如蛇蜥蜴蜘蛛蝎子高，我更认可“野生动物大冒险或者回家记”，所有动物都挺可爱，值得一看，虽然动画里的冷血动物可爱又和善，但现实毕竟是现实，请家长们对自己的孩子做好教育，现实生活里还是要远离这些动物，个人评分7.5
格林沃德的罪大恶极在上一部里就没表现出来，续集也拍的扣扣搜搜的，你们魔法世界也是借着麻瓜们的工业革命才壮大的吗？
四平八稳的叙事，脱北者与高中生组成师生关系，同时弥补各自缺失的亲情部分，虽然俗套但没过度煽情，通过解数学题象征对真诚无欺的世界的追寻，同时也讽刺了功利社会与应试教育。
这是这部电影值得记的一句话，然后反送给制片方。
光鲜但谈不上炫酷的特效，单薄且漏洞百出的剧情：嗅嗅依旧可爱，英伦风呢子大衣也还帅的一比，但邓布利多一点也不迷，对于一个看西游记长大的我来说麒麟也一点不神奇，而明明六个箱子和一锅变身汤药就能解决的问题，偏要浪费我两个小时——但我还是在最后的决战悟了：亲爱的，5块钱的义乌吊坠，那不叫爱情。
