The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 展示了一个更复杂的食物链，见识过巨大机器的运转以后，即使举起枪也没有自由。
不過不失的一部商業片。用數學教育來帶出韓國的一些社會問題。
当一个被压迫的底层阶级无奈变成一个可以压迫剥削的中层阶级，整个城市充满了身不由己的人。

想玩《疯狂的赛车》和《两杆大烟枪》式的多线叙事，虽然每条线还都挺清晰，但单线的冲突和矛盾都不强，整体结合起来略弱。插科打诨的桥段，有些搞笑，也有一些很碎碎念。镜头调度表演还都是网剧的水平，电影感稍弱。比《城市的边缘》还有些逊色。原班人马，看的都是情怀吧。最后的高潮，一帮打造网剧神话的人还是让人唏嘘。即便水平一般，但还是吊打许多网大的。
成绩与艺术，成绩是反映学习情况的好坏但并不是唯一的标准，艺术有多样性与启蒙性。
